Now that the leaves have changed and the temperature is dropping, our wardrobe changes too, how exciting! Fall is one of our favorite fashion seasons because you exchange your shorts and flip-flops for boots and scarves, meaning layer up to bundle up!
The first style tip is there are certain pieces in your closet you can actually keep season to season, and some you need to retire, but which ones you ask? A good example is white… “Never wear white after Labor Day!”… this is now a lie, and very acceptable to wear all year round!
Our second tip this fall is the colors that need to be worn this season. Reds, any shades of red to all the shades of pink. Blues, but not just any blue. Look for an electric blue or a lapis. It looks great on everyone! Neutrals are always a staple color. It’s a great palette for evening looks. For this fall the perfect neutrals are champagnes and grays, which can be mixed perfectly with fall pastels.
Now I know what you’re thinking, pastels?! For fall? What?! It can be tough to think about but this season we are incorporating pale colors that are grounded with black. TO give you an example, a blush ad pale blue paring with black shoes or black cover up. If you want to throw in a print in your outfit, you can find that pastel colored florals like blush is great paired with browns.
Speaking of prints, our third tip is animal prints. They are a hot trend again this season. You can dress it up or dress it down, its so versatile its fantastic. Leopard, cheetah and snake are so trendy this season, and works for any age group.
